Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure the cotton harvest without losses and on time during a working video meeting with the hyakims of the velayats and Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, the Watan information program reported.

As noted, work is currently ongoing to complete the sowing of wheat within the established agrotechnical deadlines. Along with this, measures are being taken to speed up the pace of the cotton harvest, to collect the “white gold” crop without loss, and timely payments are made to cotton growers for the delivered products.

Having heard reports from Deputy Prime Minister T. Atahalliyev, hyakims of Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of the seasonal field campaigns being carried out today, ordering to keep under constant control the work on sowing wheat, ensuring proper care of crops, cotton harvest without loss and on time.

In addition, the head of state ordered to keep under strict control the construction work within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028 of social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning this year.
