The State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan Daihanbank” topped the ranking in terms of the number of bank cards registered in the country's banking system as of September 1, 2023. This was reported by the Bank habarlary magazine of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
There are 1 904 152 bank cards registered in the “Daihanbank” SCBT system. Bank cards are used most in Mary velayat – 566 729 of them are registered there.
In second place in terms of the number of registered bank cards in the ranking is the “Turkmenistan” State Commercial Bank. As of September 1, 1 059 032 cards were registered in its system.
The third place in the ranking is occupied by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan “Halkbank”, in whose system 629 287 bank cards are registered.
In total, as of September 1, 5 387 896 bank cards were registered in Turkmenistan.
