According to the results of the seventh round of the qualifying tournament for the 2024 European Championship, the national teams of Spain, Türkiye and Scotland guaranteed their participation in the final stage of the tournament, writes TASS.

Spain won away to Norway 1-0 thanks to Gavi's goal in the 49th minute. In the standings of group “A”, the teams of Spain and Scotland scored 15 points after 6 matches, the Spaniards are ahead of their opponents in additional indicators. Now these teams are out of reach for the Norwegians, who are third with 10 points after 7 games.

After a home victory over the Latvian team (4:0), the Turkish team also made it to the finals of the European Championship, scoring 16 points after 7 games. In another group D match, Wales beat Croatia at home (2:1). Now the Turkish team will not fall below second place; the Welsh and Croatians who are second and third have 10 points.

Previously, Belgium, Portugal and France received tickets to Euro 2024. In addition, as host, Germany automatically received the right to participate in the tournament.

The top two teams from each qualifying group qualify for the continental championship. The remaining participants in the tournament will be determined based on the results of the Nations League playoffs.
