Today, the Dawn of Arkadag International Film Festival, held with the participation of Central Asian countries, starts in the new Turkmen city of Arkadag.
On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the participants of the film festival.
“I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the International Film Festival “Dawn of Arkadag”! I am firmly convinced that this forum will increase the creative potential of its participants,” the President’s Message says.
Currently, Turkmenistan is further expanding the horizons of friendly relations with the states of the planet in accordance with the clear goals of the policy of neutrality. The country is hosting large-scale events aimed at strengthening global peace and brotherhood, bringing people closer to the peoples of the world, especially neighboring countries.
The buildings of the city of Arkadag, erected in accordance with the “Smart City” concept, have received high awards from countries around the world and prestigious international organizations, are equipped with advanced technologies and innovations, and the achievements of the digital system have been introduced here. In the city of Arkadag, all conditions have been created for holding international festivals, concerts and forums at a high level.
“Currently, we attach great importance to the development of the cinema industry in our country, screenings of domestic films, holding film festivals, international exhibitions, as well as the participation of Turkmen specialists in film festivals abroad,” the head of state noted.
The main goal of the International Film Festival “The Dawn of Arkadag” is to improve and develop international cooperation in the field of cinema, as well as to present the city of Arkadag to the world community.
“A special pride of this international forum is the participation in it of famous film masters, film actors and film experts from the states of Central Asia, as well as from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Turkish Republic and the French Republic,” the President emphasized.
Expressing confidence that the events that will be held as part of the International Film Festival will further strengthen cultural ties and become a major event in the history of friendly relations, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, family well-being and creative success, TDH reports.
