President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited the CIS countries to take part in the first meeting of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Central Asia, which will be held in Ashgabat next year.
The invitation was made during the speech of the President of Turkmenistan at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Bishkek, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The head of state noted that the purpose of the Meeting is to develop approaches and solutions aimed at strengthening cooperation between the countries of Central Asia, as well as interested states, international organizations and financial institutions. This will help ensure sustainable and conflict-free development of the region.
