Students from Turkmenistan won II degree diplomas at the 3rd International Olympiad on Financial Security, which was held in the Russian city of Sochi, reports the website of the International University of Humanities and Development.
As a result of the competition, fourth-year student of the International University of Humanities and Development Begli Berdimuradov and fifth-year student of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Meylis Hojamyradov became holders of II degree diplomas.
Student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management Dayanch Hydyrov was awarded a II degree diploma in the direction of “International Relations”.
This year, schoolchildren and students from 19 countries took part in the international competition. In addition to Turkmenistan, teams from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Armenia, Brazil, India, the People's Republic of China, South Africa, Algeria, Venezuela, Vietnam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Cuba, Namibia and Pakistan were represented at the Olympiad.
The International Olympiad on Financial Security is a competition for schoolchildren and students, which is held with the aim of increasing their information, financial and legal literacy, promoting their professional guidance, and developing scientific knowledge in the field of financial security.
The Olympiad consists of two stages: preliminary and final. At the preliminary stage, participants solve test tasks on the “Financial Security” profile, which are based on the program of general education or higher educational institutions. At the final stage, participants solve practical problems on topics related to financial monitoring, cybersecurity and other topical issues.
