Today, the international scientific conference “The legacy of universal significance of the outstanding thinker and healer of the East Abu Ali Ibn Sina” begins in Ashgabat. On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the forum participants.
“I am confident that the international scientific conference will be of great importance in the theoretical and practical study of the valuable legacy of Abu Ali Ibn Sina, who has earned the high respect and love of the peoples of the world both in the past and in the present, as well as in the further development of cooperation in this area”, - says the Appeal.
The works, scientific and philosophical works of Abu Ali Ibn Sina, who has earned the status of the leader of scientists of the East and the luminary of thinkers of the West, represent a precious treasure that unites the past with the present and future, and are the pride of all humanity. This is fully evidenced by the fact that the legacy of this famous Eastern thinker and great man, the founder of the new era of medicine has always been studied and is being studied, and that his name has been unforgettable for thousands of years.
“The twelve years of Abu Ali Ibn Sina’s life are closely connected with the land of our country, located along the Great Silk Road, stretching from West to East, from South to North, with the history of the Turkmen people”, - the President noted.
The guides of the caravan of science of Abu Ali Ibn Sina were the great personalities of that time - the historian, astronomer, surveyor Abu Raikhan Beruni, the philosopher, doctor and mathematician Abul-Khair Hammar, the authoritative religious figure and poet Abusagit Abulkhair - Myane Baba, and the relationship between master-mentor and student, the contribution of thinkers to the enrichment of science is a special pride of the Turkmen people, the head of state emphasized.
