Construction of a new mosque is underway in the Ruhubelent etrap of Dashoguz velayat, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The mosque is located along the Dashoguz – Karakum – Ashgabat highway. It covers an area of three hectares and is made in the best traditions of national architecture.
The complex includes a mosque with three hundred seats, rooms for rituals - sadaqah, separate rooms for ablution, buildings for technical purposes, a water tank, sheds for cooking in cauldrons, and an open parking lot.
To date, the walls of the mosque building have been erected, some technical facilities have been built, concrete and other types of construction and installation work continue.
The area around the mosque will be landscaped and illuminated.
The Ruhubelent etrap is a young etrap of the region, which was discovered on the virgin massif of Shakhsenem. It has all the necessary socio-cultural facilities, including modern healthcare, educational and cultural facilities.
The etrap is actively working to further provide large and small settlements with full-fledged social and industrial infrastructure and to consistently improve the living conditions of the local population.
