President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the “Arkadag” medal of Turkmenistan. This decision was made today by the Mejlis of the country, having adopted a corresponding Resolution, the Watan information program of Turkmen television reported.
The Turkmenistan “Arkadag” medal was established this year. The medal is a state award and is awarded to citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign citizens for their contribution to the development of social, public, humanitarian, charitable, volunteer activities, the organization of medical services, rehabilitation, as well as financial and material assistance, counseling and technical assistance to children and youth in need support.
