Turkmenistan is systematically implementing the State Economic Development Program for 2022-2028, initiated by the President of Turkmenistan. One of the active participants in this program is the Röwşen Agro greenhouse complex of the individual enterprise Röwşen, located in the “Ashgabat” farmer association in the Mary etrap of the Mary velayat.
The Röwşen Agro greenhouse complex specializes in providing the population of Turkmenistan with fresh and high-quality vegetables - tomatoes and cucumbers, grown using the most modern agricultural technologies.
On an area of 50 hectares in greenhouses and open ground, experienced farmers grow up to two dozen varieties of tomatoes and cherry tomatoes from such elite seed producers as Marwellance, Altes, Bandita, Suşi, Harpink.
Elite seeds for cultivation were brought to Turkmenistan from Türkiye and the Netherlands, and special bees were brought from Türkiye for effective pollination of plants at the flowering stage. Several varieties of flowers are also grown at Röwşen Agro.
To grow vegetables, Röwşen Agro uses modern agricultural technologies - drip irrigation, heating and air conditioning systems, environmentally friendly organic fertilizers, systems for maintaining the necessary air and soil humidity (climate control). Most processes in the enterprise are fully automated. Thanks to these measures, the yield at the enterprise is 350 tons of vegetables per hectare.
The greenhouse complex of IE Röwşen employs 150 people, for whom all the necessary conditions have been created for work and leisure.
The products of the greenhouse complex Röwşen Agro IE Röwşen are intended mainly for domestic consumers, but part of the harvest is exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Vegetables from Röwşen Agro are available to consumers throughout the year, in addition, a team of agronomists and breeders at the greenhouse complex is working to increase the number of cucumber and tomato varieties grown.
IE Röwşen successfully implements a policy of export-oriented and import substitution, working to increase the range of fresh and organic vegetables available to consumers at any time of the year.
