Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, reports the State Information Agency TDH.
At the beginning of the conversation, the Turkmen leader cordially congratulated his Russian colleague on his birthday and wished him good health, happiness and prosperity, as well as great success in the highest government position for the benefit of all the people of Russia.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the Russian Federation is a strategic partner of Turkmenistan. Our relations are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and good neighborliness.
As noted during the conversation, today our countries successfully cooperate in a wide range of areas. Bilateral trade and economic ties demonstrate good dynamics, effective contacts between departments have been established, and inter-parliamentary relations have intensified.
Cooperation in the cultural, scientific and educational fields is being successfully strengthened, which is an important factor in bringing our peoples of the two states closer together.
In this regard, taking this opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan expressed his deep gratitude to his Russian colleague for the personal attention and full support provided to the comprehensive development of Turkmen-Russian relations.
Thanking for the warm congratulations, the head of the friendly state addressed his best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who also made a significant personal contribution to strengthening and expanding the interstate dialogue, traditionally built on the principles of friendship and mutually beneficial partnership.
