Today, the third meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation was held in Ashgabat. At the meeting, a number of laws aimed at developing the economy, strengthening international cooperation and protecting the rights of citizens were considered and adopted, announced the “Watan” news program of Turkmen television.
Among the laws adopted is the Law of Turkmenistan “On the creation of the Turkmenistan medal “Arkadag”. The medal is a state award and is awarded to citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign citizens for their contribution to the development of social, public, humanitarian, charitable, volunteer activities, the organization of medical services, rehabilitation, as well as financial and material assistance, counseling and technical assistance to children and youth in need support.
