Boxer from Turkmenistan Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov reached the 1/4 finals at the 2023 Summer Asian Games in Hangzhou (China), reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
In the first fight, a 21 years old student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports, competing in the weight category up to 71 kg, defeated participant of the 2023 World Championship in Tashkent Davud Mahkamov from Tajikistan with a score of 5:0. In the second fight, he defeated Nidal Fokahaa from Palestine, who took 9th place at the 2023 World Championships in Tashkent.
In the quarterfinals, Nurmuhammedov will meet Tuguldur Byambatsogt from Mongolia, who previously won two victories in two fights.
