The Turkmen Agricultural Institute will host an AgriHack hackathon on September 30 with the participation of university students in Turkmenistan. According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, AgriHack is dedicated to the topic of developing an electronic market for agricultural products.
From each university in the country, student teams have been invited to participate in the competition, which will have to prepare and present to the panel of judges the software development, its client and server parts, and justify the effectiveness and criteria for the successful functioning of an innovative project. The time allotted to complete the task is from 3 to 8 hours.
Student developments will be assessed according to criteria such as: scientific approach, possibility of practical implementation, full functionality, relevance, design, ergonomics, novelty and creativity of the ideas.
Successful competition projects will be reviewed by the organizers with a view to their further implementation and launch into production.
A hackathon is a team competition in the IT field, where participants, within the allotted time, create a prototype of a mobile application, web service or other digital product to solve a specific problem.
