The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived on a two-day working visit to Berlin, the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, the electronic version of the Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The airliner of Chairman Halk Maslahaty landed at Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport, where he was met by officials of the German government and members of the Turkmen delegation. From the airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen people departed for the residence allocated for the duration of the working visit.
As part of the working visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will hold meetings with representatives of official and business circles in Germany. The main event of the visit will be participation in a high-level multilateral meeting in the “Central Asia – Germany” format.
On September 29, a meeting of the Turkmen-German Business Council will be held, during which the current state of cooperation established in various fields will be assessed, as well as future opportunities for the development of cooperation will be discussed. During the visit, as well as following the results of the business forum, it is planned to sign a large package of documents between the government of Turkmenistan and private German enterprises.
