Turkmen tennis players went to Tashkent to prepare for the Davis Cup and junior tournaments

The Turkmenistan men's and junior tennis teams under 14 went to Tashkent for a three-week training camp. The training camp will be held at the world-famous tennis academy named after Iroda Tulyaganova, the former 16th racket of the world in tennis.

After the training camp, the men's team of Turkmenistan will take part in the Davis Cup, which will be held in Antalya from October 16 to 23. This year the team will perform in group 4 of the Asia and Oceania zone and will compete for the right to enter group 3 with teams from Singapore, Kuwait, UAE, Iraq, Guam, Kyrgyzstan and Syria.

The men's team includes Yuri Rogussky, Meylis Orazmuhammedov, Atlymurad Gurbanov, Hajimurad Charyev, Gurbanberdy Gurbanberdyev and Allanur Dayanjev. Team captain - Mirali Hasanov.

After completing the training camp, the youth team of Turkmenistan will take part in two open championships of the Asian Tennis Federation under 14 years old in Bukhara and Karshi, which will be held from October 14 to 28.

The youth team includes Ilima Huseynova, Imran Ahundov, Selim Chagylov, Sabrina Rahmanova, Aylara Kakabayeva, Resul Mammetgurbanov, Suleyman Hudayberdyev and others.

The coach of the youth team is Andrey Dovmatov, and the assistant coach is Yevgeniy Molchanov.
