Kickboxers of the Turkmenistan national team won 19 medals at the Uzbekistan Open Championship

Turkmen athletes won 19 medals at the Open Kickboxing Championship that ended in Uzbekistan. The tournament, led by Orazmuhammet Komekov and Ruslan Chuliyev, was attended by 26 Turkmen athletes who performed in 10 weight categories and 4 disciplines: point fighting, kick light, low kick and full contact, the country’s Kickboxing Federation reported.

Gold medals were won by:

  • Jasurbek Ahmedov (up to 32 kg) in the point fighting and kick light disciplines;
  • Nepes Bashimov (up to 48 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Shahruh Sheraliyev (up to 51 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Salamatahan Baltayev (up to 74 kg) in the kick light discipline;
  • Serdar Berdymuradov (up to 86 kg) in the low kick discipline.

Silver medals were won by:

  • Zaravshan Yangibayev (up to 57 kg) in the full contact discipline;
  • Muhammetberdy Allaberdyev (63.5 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Akmyrat Akmyradov (up to 67 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Muhammetali Avezov (up to 69 kg) in the kick light discipline;
  • Atajan Rozyev (up to 71 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Narzulla Bazarov (up to 71 kg) in the low kick discipline.

Bronze medals were won by:

  • Rahim Shohradov (up to 28 kg) in the kick light discipline;
  • Hangeldy Atabayev (up to 42 kg) in the kick light discipline;
  • Sahetmyrat Rejepov (up to 57 kg) in the low kick discipline;
  • Yhlas Bayev (up to 67 kg) in the full contact discipline;
  • Ilhambek Baltayev (up to 67 kg) in the full contact discipline;
  • Muhammetali Avezov (up to 69 kg) in the light contact discipline;
  • Salamatahan Baltayev (up to 74 kg) in the light contact discipline.
