1 301 people received Turkmenistan citizenship. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree today at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of members of the State Security Council, the Watan information program of Turkmen television reported.

Among those granted citizenship are representatives of 32 nationalities.

In addition, 265 applications from citizens of 25 nationalities from 13 states were submitted for a residence permit in Turkmenistan.
