The second day of the exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence, takes place at the Ashgabat exhibition center. The exhibition presents the achievements of various segments of the economy, including the energy complex.
The pavilion of the energy complex is of particular interest to visitors. Here are exhibits demonstrating the modernization of the industry, the construction of new facilities and the implementation of large-scale projects.
Electric power industry, which is one of the important sectors of the economy, is widely reflected in the exhibition. The stands display models and diagrams of modern buildings - centers for repair and maintenance of energy equipment, “green” generating stations - this is an excellent opportunity to trace the development trend of Turkmen energy in the near future.
Solar and wind power plants are being built in the Gyzylarbat etrap of the Balkan velayat. These projects will allow Turkmenistan to increase its electricity production from renewable energy sources.
In 2022, with the participation of Serdar Berdimuhamedov, a Center for repair and maintenance of energy equipment was put into operation in the Byuzmeyin etrap. This will ensure the reliability of the country's energy infrastructure.
Turkmen exhibitors also demonstrated their developments in the field of production of renewable energy sources - solar panels and wind generators. These developments allow Turkmenistan to move towards realizing its climate obligations and ensuring the country's energy security.
Turkmen electricity is already exported to Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and export volumes will increase in the coming years.
