Employees of the newspaper “Turkmenistan” took prizes in the International competition “Caspian without borders”. Thus, Aygul Rahimova’s work “Commonwealth. Friendship. Cordiality” was awarded first place in the “Fresh Look” category.
Photographs about the development of cooperation between the Caspian countries by Ilaman Churiyev took second place in the “PhotoCaspian” nomination, reports the publication bloknot-astrakhan.ru.
In total, the competition had 5 nominations: “PhotoCaspian”, “Discovering the Caspian countries”, “Caspian - the territory of health”, “Man and the sea”, “Fresh look”. More than 160 works were submitted to the competition.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the prize-winners and winners of the International Competition “Caspian Without Borders” was held at the VIII Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan.
The Grand Prix of the competition was awarded to journalist Nader Masoumi from Iran for his series of documentaries “Gilan - the gateway to the Caspian civilization”.
