Turkmen “Ahal” beat Saudi “Al-Feiha” in the match of the 1st round of the 2023/24 AFC Champions League.
The teams played at the Ashgabat stadium, the meeting ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal in the 51st minute was scored by the hosts' captain Elman Tagaev, who managed a magnificent shot from outside the penalty area into the left corner of the goal. In another Group A match, the Emirati Al Ain defeated the Uzbek Pakhtakor with a score of 3:0.
In the next round of the AFC Champions League 2023/34, Ahal will visit Al-Ain, and Al-Feikha will host Pakhtakor. Both meetings will take place on October 3.
