From October 14 to 15, the Arkadagyň säheri film festival will be held in the smart city of Arkadag, in which creative teams and young talents from Central Asian countries will take part. Deputy Prime Minister Myahrijemal Mammedova reported on preparations for the film festival today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the information program Watan of Turkmen television reported.
The main goal of the film festival is to identify young talents, develop Turkmen cinema, patriotic education of youth, as well as familiarize the world community with the unique city of Arkadag.
After listening to the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that holding such forums helps strengthen friendship and cooperation between the countries and peoples of Central Asia, as well as enrich cultural and humanitarian ties. Speaking about this, the head of state instructed to ensure a high level of preparation for the upcoming film screening.
