The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited the heads of state of Central Asia, as well as the Republic of Azerbaijan, to the celebrations on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi, which will be celebrated in 2024, the information program “Watan” of Turkmen television reported .
“I would like, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to invite everyone present to take part in the celebrations planned in 2024 on the occasion of the anniversary of the Turkmen thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi, which will be held at the highest international level,” said the head of the highest representative body of the people’s power of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the ceremony of awarding him the Badge of Honor of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held today in Dushanbe.
Turkmenistan is preparing to widely celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great philosopher and poet Magtymguly Fragi. A number of events are planned for the upcoming anniversary of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature in 2024. Among them is the International Scientific Conference in Ashgabat.
It should be noted that in recent years, Magtymguly’s poetry collections have been translated into many languages of the world, including Turkish, Russian, English, Azerbaijani, Arabic, Armenian, Belarusian, Kazakh, Uzbek, Tajik, Georgian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Japanese, Romanian and others.
