Preparations for the XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023”, which will be held on October 25-27, 2023, have begun in Ashgabat. The event is organized by the State Concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” in partnership with the Economic Society “Turkmen Forum” with the support of the British company GaffneyCline.

The conference and exhibition will be attended by heads of leading international energy companies, heads of international organizations and leading global financial institutions. They will discuss regional and global trends that influence the development of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.

The diamond partner of the annual event was the international oil and gas exploration, development and production company Dragon Oil. During its activities in Turkmenistan, the company built production and hub offshore stationary platforms, carried out major repairs of existing wells, reconstructed and re-equipped all parts of the oil field development system. Year after year, the company confirms its status as a reliable partner of Turkmenistan, focusing on environmentally friendly hydrocarbon production.

High performance indicators and successful cooperation created the foundation for the signing of a contract between the State Concern “Turkmennebit” and Dragon Oil (Turkmenistan) Ltd. on the extension of the Production Sharing Agreement until May 1, 2035. The main objective of the company is to increase crude oil production from the fields of the “Cheleken” contract territory.

In addition to its core activities, Dragon Oil invests in training and development programs for local personnel. Within the framework of the ongoing corporate social responsibility program, the company has completed more than 400 projects aimed at developing education, culture and sports, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
