Turkmenistan has confirmed participation in the Minsk Half Marathon 2023. According to the chairman of the Belarusian Athletics Federation Ivan Tikhon, at the moment runners from 17 countries, including Turkmenistan, have confirmed their registration for the race.
Chairman of the Belarusian Athletics Federation Ivan Tikhon shared information about the event at a press conference dedicated to the Minsk Half Marathon 2023, informs BelTA.
On September 10, a half marathon will be held in Minsk, where about 15 thousand runners from different countries are expected. They will be able to choose one of three distances (5 km, 10,5 km and 21 km), as well as take part in a family run.
Start and finish will be at the “Dynamo” stadium. Participants will receive medals depicting the sights of Minsk and Hippocrates' quote about the benefits of running, which reads as follows: “If you want to be beautiful - run, if you want to be strong - run, if you want to be smart – run”.
