Two clubs managed by Turkmen specialists – Kurban Berdyev's “Dynamo” Makhachkala and Dmitry Khomukha's Yaroslavl's “Shinnik” – won their next victories in the new season within the framework of the eighth round of the First League (the second strongest division) of the Russian Championship.
“Dynamo” Makhachkala defeated “SKA” Khabarovsk with a score of 2:0. Yaroslavl “Shinnik” beat “Neftekhimik” from Nizhnekamsk with a score of 1:0.
After eight rounds, “Dynamo” is 7th in the standings with 12 points, and “Shinnik” is fifth with 13 points.
Vladikavkaz “Alania” leads the championship with 19 points. The second place, having 16 points, is occupied by the Saratov “Sokol”, the Togliatti “Akron” (14) closes the top three (14), which is played by a native of the city of Bayramali Jamaldin Hojaniyazov.
