Starting from this academic year, high school students of secondary schools in Turkmenistan have the opportunity to acquire basic skills in one of 60 professions.

This is reported by jeyhun.news with reference to the words of the expert of the Center for Advanced Studies of Teachers and Educators under the Lebap Velayat Department of Education Ogulgerek Hudayberdiyeva.

Thus, from the new academic year, vocational training courses will be held in the country's secondary schools. Students in grades 11-12 will be trained 2 hours a week in the basics of such professions as: carpenter, tailor-cutter, carpet weaver, computer operator, secretary-machinist, accountant, wedding designer, farm operator, household electrical repairman, system administrator, farmer and other.

Also, high school students will be able to get the basics of computer literacy, electronic document management and entrepreneurship.
