In September 2023, as part of the Big Tour program and the Russian Seasons international cultural project, the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia will visit Turkmenistan, TASS reports citing the Rosconcert press service.
The Maly Theater will perform in Turkmenistan from 18 to 22 September. The team will show two performances based on plays by Anton Chekhov: The Cherry Orchard and The Marriage. These productions will be shown on the stage of the Main Academic Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy.
The "Big Tour" is a unique opportunity for viewers from different countries to get acquainted with the diversity and richness of Russian theatrical art, and for artists to share their creativity and exchange experiences.
