The Danish company LEGO from September will launch a series of construction sets for visually impaired and blind children, Europulse reports.

In terms of size, the details of designers for the visually impaired practically do not differ from ordinary ones. Each detail in such designers is marked with a number and a letter of the Braille alphabet - they act as snap fasteners. There are 287 parts in a set for the visually impaired.

LEGO constructors for the blind were created back in 2020, but until now they were not intended for sale - the company supplied free sets only to specialized centers and schools.

From 2023, these sets will go on sale in stores in the UK, Ireland, Australia, USA, Belgium and Canada. Next year, it is planned to adapt the constructors for countries with Spanish and German languages, as well as for residents of Italy.
