Rossiya Airlines (part of the Aeroflot Group) will launch direct daily flights between St. Petersburg and Dubai from September 30. This was reported on the official website of the company, according to alta.ru.
Flights will be operated on Airbus-319 aircraft with a capacity of up to 128 passengers. Travel time will be about 5 hours 50 minutes.
“The new flights of Rossiya will open up the opportunity for St. Petersburg residents to travel to the coast of the Persian Gulf without transfers. The UAE is popular among Russian tourists, and the period from October to April is considered the best time to visit the country,” the airline said in a statement.
Departure from St. Petersburg is scheduled for 9:20 am (local time) on Mondays and Tuesdays, and at 11:00 am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
