Abu Dhabi cyclists visited Turkmenistan to exchange experience and prepare for competitions. As part of the visit, athletes from the UAE visited the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. A tour of the laboratories of the Faculty of Olympic Sports was organized for the guests.

With the help of the latest devices, the riders measured the volume of the lungs and body fat. They also visited a special “Mountain Studio”, which allows athletes to train in conditions that mimic mountainous terrain, MIR24 reports.

“Our institute has a sports laboratory that allows us to determine the functional capabilities of athletes,” said teacher of the institute Muhammetberdi Mammedov. “These results help us in our future preparations for international competitions.”

The Faculty of Olympic Sports was opened in order to train highly qualified specialists and athletes in the leading sports that are included in the program of the Olympic Games.

Representatives of the Abu Dhabi cycling club noted the high level of equipment that meets the most modern requirements.
