The Qatar High Committee for Projects and Heritage has announced plans to dispose of 173 tons of promotional items used during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, reported "Xinhua" news agency.
Polyester materials previously used as wraps, banners and fencing in stadiums and other venues will be recycled into plastic pellets by Saudi Top Plastics.
