The Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan has become an official member of the UNESCO Global Youth Community (GYC). This is stated in the message of the Director for Policy and Programs of the Sector of Social and Human Sciences of the UNESCO Secretariat Angela Melo, received by the office of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the news program Watan of the Turkmen television reported today.
The UNESCO Global Youth Community is a unique global platform created and run by young people, which aims to develop interaction and cooperation between UNESCO youth initiatives and other similar projects.
This Community stimulates and ensures the deep involvement of young people in the activities of its organizations, active cooperation with UNESCO. It also acts as an autonomous educational space for young people and youth organizations seeking to jointly study, develop and implement projects related to UNESCO's activities.
