Due to heavy rains in Germany, the runway of the Frankfurt am Main International Airport was flooded, writes the ApNews newspaper.
Aircraft maintenance work was suspended for two hours, 70 flights were delayed, and another 23 were sent to other nearby airports.
Several cities in the center and northwest of Germany were also flooded due to heavy rains.
