Russian inventors - employees of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots have created and patented a fountain pen that can track the psychophysical state of the writer, reports “Moskovsky Komsomolets”.
In the part of the pen that comes into contact with the fingers when writing, pressure sensors are built in, in the upper part there are tremor sensors, and at the very top there is a microcircuit with a receiving sensor and a signal processing unit and a board with LED signals - yellow, orange and red. The blue LED is located in the middle of the handle.
As soon as the pen begins to write, the blue LED lights up. The fact that the writer is tired with such a pen and it is necessary to take a break will be reported by the LEDs at the top - they will all burn together.
A pen sensitive to the user's state could be used in schools to track the fatigue level of elementary school students.
