Japan has invented a special capsule for office workers - you can sleep standing up in it, writes “MIR 24”.
The capsule called “Giraffe” (because this animal also sleeps in a standing position) looks like a closet or telephone booth, with the difference that it is completely protected from external sounds and has special supporting platforms that permit the body to be relaxed even in an upright position.
Inside the capsule is equipped with a fan, a smoke detector, ceiling and floor lighting, a fire extinguisher and coat hooks. The ceiling can be removed to allow outside air to freely enter the capsule.
According to the developers, the capsule will improve the productivity of employees, which will have a positive impact on the success of companies.
