Severe storms have hit the East Coast of the United States, victims of which were at least two people, Interfax reports.
A 15 years old teenager and a 28 years old man became victims of the elements.
The southern and southeastern states were hardest hit, including Alabama, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Georgia. More than 900 thousand homes and businesses were left without electricity.
More than a thousand flights have been canceled in New York, the District of Columbia and the state of Georgia. Ground services at the airports in Memphis, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Miami have been warned that bad weather may reach these regions further from the East Coast.
