On August 4, Ashgabat will host a trilateral summit in the format "Turkmenistan - Tajikistan - Uzbekistan". The event will be attended by Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Turkmen capital is preparing for the upcoming event with all thoroughness. Official posters were placed on billboards, stop pavilions and poster stands. Work is also being carried out to improve the city, decorate streets and buildings, and ensure the safety and comfort of guests.
We remind that the holding of the summit became known following the online meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with his counterparts from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Currently, work is underway on documents that will be signed at a high-level meeting, separate meetings are held between officials and employees of the diplomatic departments of the three countries.
Earlier, Turkmenportal reported that Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the Turkmen composition of the Intergovernmental Commission on the issues of determining the line of the State border between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
