In Kazakhstan, after almost a 20-year break, the international music festival “Asia Dauysy” (“Voice of Asia”) was again successfully held, writes the TASS agency.
Performances of the festival participants were held from July 29 to 31 at the “Medeo” high-mountain open skating rink in the vicinity of Almaty. The broadcast of the festival was conducted by the republican TV channel Jibek Joly TV.
Well-known Kazakh actors, pop singers, bloggers, and public figures arrived in the republic to participate in the music festival. Among the celebrities who became guests of the festival are the “Yalla” group, singers Yulduz Usmanova, Roza Rymbaeva, producer and songwriter of the A’Studio group Baigali Serkebaev and others.
The “Asia Dauysy” festival was held in Almaty from 1990 to 2004. At different times, such world celebrities as Patricia Kaas, Toto Cutugno, Boney M and others took part in it.
