On November 23-28, 2023, the 14th World Kurash Championship will be held in the martial arts sports complex of the Olympic village of Ashgabat. The relevant Resolution was signed today by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the information program Watan of the Turkmen television reported.
The document instructs the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports to develop and approve, in agreement with the International Kurash Association, the Regulations on holding the above championship.
Earlier this month, “in order to hold the World Kurash Championship in Ashgabat at a high level,” the President of Turkmenistan created the Organizing Committee and approved its composition.
