The strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan will continue to develop effectively. This was stated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his message addressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the text of which was read today in the “Watan” news program of the Turkmen television.

“Value our constructive dialogue in the spirit of friendship and mutual trust, I express my firm conviction that the multifaceted and mutually beneficial strategic partnership between our countries will continue to develop effectively”, - the message says.

The President of Uzbekistan also expressed deep gratitude to the head of the highest representative body of the people's power of Turkmenistan for sincere congratulations, good wishes and warm words, as well as for a separate phone call on the occasion of his birthday.

“The high assessments of the significant socio-economic achievements of Uzbekistan in recent years and our mutually beneficial cooperation, which has reached a qualitatively new level, set out in your message, are extremely valuable to me”, - Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted, emphasizing the invaluable contribution of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the comprehensive strengthening of bilateral relations.

Taking the opportunity, the President of Uzbekistan wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his family and friends long life and family happiness, and peace and prosperity to the fraternal people of Turkmenistan.
