Last November, Turkmenistan joined the Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications in Europe. The authorized body that performs the functions of national information centers specified in the Convention is the Innovation Information Center (IIC) of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The IIC is responsible for the recognition of education documents issued in other countries, develops digital technologies in education and prepares electronic learning materials.
On July 21, the center launched its official website nic.gov.tm. It contains a lot of useful information in Turkmen, Russian and English.
On the site you can find out what tasks the Innovation Information Center performs, how the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications in Europe works, how diplomas and certificates obtained abroad are recognized, what documents are needed for admission to foreign or Turkmen universities, what international agreements exist in the field of education and much more.
The new site will help Turkmen youth to get a quality education abroad and expand their opportunities.
