President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of his birthday, reports the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper today.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev turned 66 today.

“Thanks to your wise and far-sighted policy, the Republic of Uzbekistan has entered a new stage in its development. Today, large-scale transformations are being carried out in Uzbekistan aimed at improving the well-being of the people and the country's authority on the world stage”, - the head of Turkmenistan emphasized in his message.

Touching upon the bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the relations of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of the two countries are traditionally based on strong ties of good neighborliness, equality, respect and mutual support.

“At present time, Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation is developing dynamically in the widest range of areas”, - said Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing confidence that the Turkmen-Uzbek relations would be enriched with new content through joint efforts, the President of Turkmenistan expressed sincere wishes to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for good health, happiness and success in work, and well-being and further prosperity to the fraternal people of Uzbekistan.
