The national team of Turkmenistan defeated the Iranian team in its first match at the CAFA Futsal Cup-2023. The match was held today in Dushanbe and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Turkmen futsal players.
The goalkeeper of the Turkmenistan national team Pirguly Gylychmuradov was recognized as the best player of the match. The victory gave three points to the team of Yakub Ovezov, who took the lead of the group along with Afghanistan, who defeated Kyrgyzstan - 5:4.
The first game day of the Central Asian tournament will end with a match between the national teams of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
In the second round of CAFA Futsal Cup-2023, the Turkmen team will face Tajikistan on July 24. The match will start at 20:00 Ashgabat time.
