A plan to intensify international cooperation in the fight against terrorism for 2023-2025 is planned to be developed in Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov reported this at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports today.

According to him, currently one of the key tasks is to strengthen regional and global partnership in the field of security. In this aspect, there are ample opportunities for intensifying partnerships with the UN, EU, OSCE, OIC, other authoritative organizations, as well as with neighboring and other countries.

Approving the submitted proposals, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the implementation of the envisaged measures would give new impetus and content to mutually beneficial cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, and would serve to strengthen effective partnership with international organizations.
