People prone to antisocial behavior age faster, psychologists from Duke University in the United States say. They published the result of their research on the pages of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, writes Gazeta.ru.

The conclusions were drawn from a large-scale study involving 1037 people born in 1972-1973 living in New Zealand. All of them underwent a full medical and psychological examination several times.

It turned out that people with antisocial behavior showed faster rates of biological aging of the body. On average, they turned out to be 4,3 years biologically older than people who do not exhibit antisocial behavioral traits.

People with antisocial behavior are prone to aggression, violation of laws and social rules. They also have a lack of remorse, deceit, a tendency to violence, manipulation, theft. Such people most often become “heroes” of criminal news.
