The Turkmen football club “Altyn asyr” from Ashgabat arrived at the training camp in the Bulgarian city of Bansko, where it will prepare for the resumption of the championship of Turkmenistan and the group stage of the AFC Cup.
The training camp is led by head coach Yazguly Hojageldiyev. The team plans to improve its physical and tactical training, as well as work out various game schemes.
“Altyn asyr” is one of the most successful and popular football clubs in Turkmenistan. Since its foundation in 2008, it has been participating in the Higher League of Turkmenistan and has been its winner from 2014 to 2021 in a row.
This year, “Altyn asyr” represents Turkmenistan on the international arena within the framework of the AFC Cup, a prestigious tournament among Asian clubs.
