JICA adviser visited Turkmenistan to work out issues of cooperation in the field of tourism


Ms. Yumi Mizumori, Advisor for Tourism Promotion of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), recently visited Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan.

Her visit had several objectives. In particular, support for a Japanese correspondent in covering tourist routes in Turkmenistan, as well as visiting tourist sites and infrastructure and holding meetings with the country's travel agencies.

At the Embassy of Japan in Ashgabat, the adviser took part in an exchange of views on the possibility of bilateral Turkmen-Japanese, as well as regional (CA) cooperation in the field of tourism, since Turkmenistan has great potential in this direction, the source notes.
