Georgian athlete will go to the tenth Olympics in her sports career

53 years old Nino Salukvadze from Georgia, master of sports in pistol shooting, will take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris for the tenth time, reports the “MIR 24” portal.

Salukvadze got a ticket to the future Olympics thanks to the 4th place at the European Games in Poland in shooting competitions.

Nino Salukvadze has been performing at the Olympic Games since 1988. She started as a member of the USSR national team, at the same time she won gold in pistol shooting from 25 meters and silver at a distance of 10 meters. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she won bronze in the 10m shooting.

The absolute record for the number of participations in the Olympics (10 times) belongs to the master of equestrian sports Ian Millar from Canada.
