Three cyclists from the Lebap velayat set off on a trip around Turkmenistan. They dedicate their trip to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, according to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

Batyr Abdullayev, a well-known traveler and photographer in Turkmenistan, a resident of the Parahat village of the Dyanev etrap, is at the head of this initiative. He made several hiking and cycling trips across the country, seven times he climbed the highest point of Turkmenistan - the Airy-Baba peak in the Koytendag mountains.

His next trip is the ninth in a row, and a resident of the city of Seydi Hudayberen Saparov and a teacher of primary school № 31 of the Koytendag etrap Gulruh Jumayeva set off with him.

This is Hudayberen's third cycling trip. He intends to drive to Ashgabat and then return back. He has already twice set off in this way to the city of Turkmenbashi.

Gulruh only learned to ride a bicycle before the trip and was not afraid to immediately go on such a long journey. She decided to go with Batyr the entire route - to Bekdash through Turkmenabat, Mary, Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi. Then back to Ashgabat, from where they will turn towards Dashoguz, and then head for Gazojak. Having reached the city of Seydi, they will move to the right bank of the Amu Darya, and then through the city of Turkmenabat, which is located on the left bank of the river, they will head towards Koytendag. The length of the entire route will be approximately 4000 kilometers. She will have something to tell her students about, Gulruh is sure.

Batyr will update his own record, set in 2014, when he covered 2581 kilometers on a bicycle.

Throughout the journey, cyclists will collect interesting facts about the culture, nature and life of the regions of the country, and take a lot of pictures.
